Three Concealed Pungs (三暗嵌) is a hand that contains three self-drawn pungs or kongs.
In Chinese Classical players only earned mini points (fu) for each individual pung or kong.
Starting with Shanghai New Style players earned fu for each pung and fan for having Three Concealed Pungs.

In this example the hand is concealed and waiting on a 5 Crak or West.
If the winning tile is self-drawn the player will get Three Concealed Pungs.
However, if the winning tile is called from a discard, the player will not get it.
