Single Wait
Single Wait is solely needing a single tile to complete a pair for mahjong. This tile must be the only one that will complete four sets and a pair.
Specially, however, when your hand has sequences neighbor to a waited suit tile, like a "345" to a "6", two single waits are present (for 3 and 6).
In scoring, the hand is often regarded as a single wait in the place of double waits (or vice versa), if there are several possibilities; for example: single wait for 3 in "3345", not a double wait for 3 and 6.
