The Jewel Dragons are a group of three patterns that contain a combo of single-suit Pungs and Dragons.
An example of Pearl Dragon. This pattern contains Pungs of Circles and White Dragons.
An example of Jade Dragon. This pattern contains Pungs of Bamboo and Green Dragons.
An example of Ruby Dragon. This pattern contains Pungs of Characters and Red Dragons.
These patterns originate from Western Mahjong rulesets, particularly those influenced by British Mahjong. It is also infrequently found in Hong Kong Old Style rulesets, though it is rarely included in the Classic > New6 > New18 > 無奇不有 framework of Cantonese Mahjong evolution.
When playing without Jewel Dragons, the patterns above still score for Half Flush, All Pungs, and Dragon Pung.
