Nagashi Mangan

Nagashi Mangan (流し満貫) is a special hand in Japanese Modern mahjong that cannot be combined with any other hand. A player who is going for nagashi mangan has to meet several criteria:

  • Player's hand is concealed
  • The game ends in a draw
  • Discards are solely composed of terminal or honor tiles
  • Cannot have any tile claimed by opponents

The player does not have to be in tenpai and collects all riichi bets and any additional points for counters out.
